The first use of the Temple of Serapis occurred in Egypt during the burning of the Library of Alexandria by Julius Caesar. Sensing destruction of the library could be near due to the proximity of the Library to the burning docks, Akkadian acted quickly. With the help of his companions, the great majority of items and knowledge were moved to the Temple of Serapis as a temporary way-point until the main Temple of the Akkadian could be built.
